Rather than following international trends, we chose to explore the remarkable
potential of our own indigenous grape varieties. That decision continues to shape every
vineyard, every harvest and every bottle we produce.

Located on the limestone slopes of the Diarizos Valley near the village of Pretori, Nelion
is a boutique winery dedicated to authenticity, precision and respect for place. Organic
farming, low yields and thoughtful winemaking allow each vineyard to express its
unique character.

Since opening our winery in 1996, we have continually refined our approach while
remaining true to one principle: great wines begin in the vineyard. Modern technology
is embraced only when it protects quality and preserves the identity of the fruit.
Today, Nelion focuses on revealing the true character of Cyprus through Xynisteri,
Ofthalmo and Maratheftiko—wines that speak of their landscape, their heritage and
their future.
